Recently, one of our PhD students, Jane Avril Millward (Communications Engineering) was inaugurated into the 2024 Cohort of Quad Fellows. During the Quad Fellowship Summit, she participated in a panel discussion at the welcome reception held at the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC.
Jane has been chosen among a group of 50 scholars in Australia, India, Japan, and the United States. The Quad Fellowship is a “first-of-its-kind scholarship program…designed to build ties among the next generation of scientists and technologists.” The program is highly competitive and focuses on innovation and cross-cultural exchange between the U.S. and these Indo-Pacific countries. It is great to see Jane’s work in noise and interference communication technologies get the recognition it deserves!
