This Friday, November 17th, Professor Muriel Médard will be presenting a keynote, as well as joining in on the WICE panel at IEEE’s LatinCom. Since the focus of the conference is on communications, Prof. Médard will be giving a presenting on her universal decoding method for 5G networks; the keynote is titled: “Guessing Random Additive Noise Decoding (GRAND) or Universal Decoding Algorithm, and Relation to Signal Processing.” This presentation will take place from 9:00 – 10:30 AM and will be followed the WICE: Spotlight Women in Career Excellence panel. Muriel’s talk, titled “A Non-Obvious Researcher,” will occur from 11:00 – 12:30 PM.
