On June 15th, from 3:30 – 4:30 PM, the 2023 World of Wireless, Mobile, and Multimedia Networks symposium will be hosting its N2Women event. The event is titled “Lean In: A Successful Path for Women” and will focus on the field of research from a female perspective, the barriers, bias, advantages, disadvantages, personal success, and perseverance within one’s field as a female research. Professor Muriel Médard will be discussing this topic alongside a host of intelligent women: Professor Anna Foerster (Professor, Sustainable Communication Networks, University of Bremen, Germany), Professor Minlan Yu (Gordon McKay Professor of Computer Science at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, USA), and Dr. Neeli Rashmi Prasad. Each presenter will give a speech regarding their experiences and their talk will be followed by a Q&A.
